(Bunny gives us some background into her family in which her father is the head of the family Tenuvial which makes him both a member of the Sirian Council and someone of importance in the planetary system. Her role as his daughter we find out lacks the responsibilities of her siblings so we get her perspective on Sirian life.)

Russ: hey Bunny.

Bunny: hello..

Russ: so a horak?

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: and a bunny, how cute. It’s a mental picture.

Bunny: uh-huh, a mental picture huh?

Russ: you bet. Good, that’s quite fascinating, I like listening about the Tenuvial family.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: and long does your little portion of this…..

Bunny: I’ve never done my part.

Russ: but you know it by heart so…….

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: really? That’s very good, how long does it take?

Bunny: it takes five hours.

Russ: geez.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: and you learned it by heart?

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: you’re quite an actress.

Bunny: I have to be.

Russ: yes you do, that’s quite a script.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: well I can’t wait to hear about your telling of the story someday.

Bunny: oh.

Russ: when does it happen? When is the next gathering of the family?

Bunny: the next gathering of the family is on the conjunction of the sun and the moons.

Russ: ahh, so sometime in the near future I take it?

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: okay, well good.

Bunny: and everybody tells a part. For the family members that live far away they select an individual to tell their part.

Russ: oh, hmm.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: well if your part’s five hours long and there’s 3,000 family members….

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: well they can’t all be five hours long.

Bunny: no.

Russ: oh okay. I was going to say, you’d be basically living there for a year or so listening to this story.

Bunny: uh-huh, it’s……our father is head of family.

Russ: right.

Bunny: so as daughters and sons we have…

Russ: oohhh, the longer parts.

Bunny: that’s right.

Russ: that’s right, I forgot.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: ahh, okay. Hmm, now with your family, is it very structured as far as from the head of the family down?

Bunny: the higher up in the family the more structured it is.

Russ: okay so you have to go to specific family functions as a family member being as you’re daughter of the head of the family?

Bunny: no.

Russ: oh so you’re not like Karra where you have to do a certain role and all.

Bunny: no, that goes to…….

Russ: not your older sister, not Leah’s older sister?

Bunny: the way it works is, on the climbing pole there is my father and my mother and then there is my biggest brother and then my biggest sister and they have important parts to play. And then there is Leah and she has a little part to play and there’s me and my little brother, we don’t get to play any parts except for at really big family functions.

Russ: what are you going to do then, tell your story?

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: that's it.

Bunny: uh-huh so I can get away with wriggling around at family meetings.

Russ: oh yes, not for long.

Bunny: I can get away with it as long as I want.

Russ: (laughs) okay so your family is important as far as trade and things go on Sirius I take it?

Bunny: sorry?

Russ: well with the fishing, the things like that, your family has a part to play itself in the whole grand scheme of Sirius.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: right, so is there any part of that that you are responsible for?

Bunny: nope.

Russ: oh okay. So you don't have to learn the family business or something?

Bunny: nope.

Russ: you lucky girl.

Bunny: uh-huh, it’s not expected of me.

Russ: ahhh.

Bunny: I can sun myself on the beach all day, I can go to college for as long as I want, I can…..

Russ: gallivant around the galaxy.

Bunny: uh-huh, I can get joined as much as I want and nobody can say a word.

Russ: so in other words there is no such thing as family scandals?

Bunny: you want to hear family scandals?

(Russ starts laughing)

Bunny: I heard a story a while ago of a family that the head lady, the head lady, I think the head is quite appropriate in this story was.........

Russ: I won’t wonder who’s that family is.

bunny: I know who’s family it is……..oww, hmm.

Russ: so anyway.

Bunny: yes it was that family.

Russ: that’s too funny.

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: with that in mind then basically, have you had a chance to really get out and explore the galaxy at all or no, not really?

Bunny: no, the only part I’ve seen of the galaxy is from my chambers.

Russ: so you haven’t been to the city ships yet at all?

Bunny: city ships, no.

Russ: oh yeah? You plan on going someday?

Bunny: uh-huh.

Russ: yeah? Okay good.

Bunny: uh-huh, I’ll make a tour.

Russ: well it’s funny, even down here we know what the city ships kind of are setup as, as far as their……

Bunny: yeah, they could do with some rest and relaxation, I’ll liven things up.

Russ: yes I'm sure you will dear.
