(Kiri helps our
guest recall a warp engine from a past life with
no moving parts. Very similar way of traveling
as depicted in the movie "Dune" where a warp
capable being helps provide the trip in exchange
for something it needs.)
Skip:
yes?
Kiri:
you have
a question, you're sitting
there very
patiently……well
actually you’re
sort of like
bouncing around like
one of those
rubber balls
that you…power
balls.
Skip:
I want to know
something and I
don’t think you
give me an
answer but I
want to know
anyhow.
Kiri:
really?
Skip:
yes.
Kiri:
okay.
Skip:
how in heck can
you fuse life
with how can I
say this? With
inanimate
objects to give
off power? This
engine that I
seen is driving
me nuts.
Kiri:
ohhhhhh.
Skip: okay?
Kiri:
you can, you
can, there is
a….
Skip:
uh-huh, tell me
about it.
Russ:
you put a
hamster in a
treadmill right?
Skip:
what? No, no,
no, this engine
was moving
partner and it
was…..
Kiri:
uh-huh, alive.
Skip:
powering.........yeah
it was alive.
Kiri:
uh-huh.
Skip:
and it was
powering a
ship.
Kiri: okay
now, put it this
way, you take
a…..I’m not
quite sure what
you call them
but they root
around in the
ground, they
snuffle a lot
and they smell
rotten and tend
to lie around
in their own
mess sometimes.
John:
pigs.
Kiri:
yes thank you,
that’s the word, I
knew it was a
three letter
word, I thought
it started with
H.
John:
no, well hog or
pig would be
correct........
Kiri:
okay.
John:
pig is what
you’re using.
Kiri:
okay now, what
fuel does a pig
give off?
Russ:
methane.
John:
methane.
Kiri:
methane.
Skip:
so does human
beings.
Kiri:
correct. Now,
what can you do
with methane?
Skip:
burn it.
Kiri:
which does what?
Skip:
creates heat.
Kiri:
which in turn
can be used for?
Skip:
oh a lot of
things.
Kiri:
uh-huh. So you
see how an
organic, living
being can
actually power
something.
Skip:
no, no.
Kiri:
I know, I know,
I’m taking a
very, very
simple…..
Skip:
yeah I know what
you’re doing to
me, you're leading
me down the
garden path is
what you’re
doing.
Kiri:
I’m leading you
to the goal.
Skip:
yeah okay go
ahead.
Kiri:
now let’s take
the next logical
step. Obviously
you would want
something that
takes out the
middle part
right? That
instead of it
coming out and
then being
fermented and
giving off the
gas, you want to
take that part
out, you want to
have some
creature that
goes from eating
something to
giving off the
power.
Skip:
uh-huh.
Kiri:
okay, what would
you do?
Skip:
that’s what I’m
asking you.
Kiri:
I really can’t
tell you without
Omal turning
around on me and
saying, “pack
your gear,
you're going
home.”
Skip:
what I’m trying
to get at….
Kiri:
uh-huh.
Skip:
is I’ve seen
this
engine.......
Kiri:
uh-huh.
Skip:
and it was
alive.
Kiri:
yeah, yeah, I
know the engine
that you're
referring to.
Skip:
and it wasn’t
stationary.
Kiri:
uh-huh.
Skip:
and how can you
make an engine,
it’s beyond my
comprehension.
Kiri:
no it’s not.
Skip:
yes it is.
Kiri:
no it’s not.
Okay, I need a
guinea pig, Russ,
stand up.
(that
gets everybody
laughing)
Russ:
oh Jesus, why me
all the time? What about Johnny?
John:
well you’re
here, if she
would’ve chose
me I would of
stood up.
Kiri:
okay Russ has
had fuel earlier
on today.
Skip:
yeah.
Kiri:
okay, now we’ve
taken out the
middle part,
Russ walk. Take
a few steps,
okay that will
do. Okay Russ is
an engine that
has just moved
so you get a
living engine
right? I.e. this
gentleman here
right? You’ve
got the
combustion
chamber which is the stomach
right? The
energy that was
the protein that
he ate earlier
on has been
transferred into
movement.
Skip:
uh-huh.
Kiri:
okay, now what
you have to do
is you take
a……you can sit
down, you’re
done. Let’s give
him a big round
of applause.
(Kiri's
claps are the
only ones
heard)
Kiri:
okay but
basically what
is happening is
that you take a
entity, a being
right? That you
say to it, “okay
you can do this
right? You can
power this. In
return we will
give you what
you want as long
as you give us
what we want.”
How the engine
achieves the
return in
favor.........for
example let’s
say it needs a
vessel to
transport it.
You build it a
vessel to take
it from point A to
point B and in
return for
building it,
let’s say you
want to go to
Aldebaran right?
You have to say
to it, “okay we
built you this,
you take us to
Aldebaran and
then you’re free
to go.” So you
build up this
relationship
with this
entity. You give
it food to power
itself and in
return it takes
you where you
wish to go.
Russ:
it's symbiotic.
Kiri:
it’s a
symbit…..thank
you, a symbiotic
relationship
between the
engine and the
people that are
in control of
it. Now, how it
works. Basically the power
source is the
excreted waste,
the power stream
that comes out
and moves the
vessel or the
engine is
basically what’s
left over after
it’s eaten. What
it’s basically
doing is instead
of just giving
off a nasty
order, it’s
using that to
achieve a goal,
it’s as simple
as that. The
technical side
is more of a
medical thing
actually that a
medic would be
better to answer
it than myself.
I understand the
basics, I
understand how
it works and I
understand how
to repair the
problem but when
it comes to the
whys,
I’m at a little
bit at a loss. I
could tell
you exactly how
it works, all
the chemical
reactions and
everything but
again Omal would
look at me and
go, “you’re out,
you’re going
home" if I sat
down and told
you so I’ve got
to be very
careful on
what I say here.
Skip:
I understand
dear. Okay,
thank you.
Kiri:
no problem.
